PotLock LLC is a mobile technology company that operates a peer-to-peer skill-based wagering platform for golfers. The company develops and maintains an iOS application that enables users to create real-money golf matches, lock deposits prior to play via integrated payment processing, track hole-by-hole scores, resolve disputes, and distribute winnings automatically to the winning player upon match confirmation.
PotLock generates revenue exclusively through a 5% transaction-based service fee charged on the winning pot at settlement. The platform does not participate in matches, does not take positions on outcomes, and holds all funds in escrow via Stripe until matches are confirmed by all players.

Terms of Service

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. BY CREATING AN ACCOUNT OR USING POTLOCK, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using PotLock, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age.
You must reside in a jurisdiction where peer-to-peer skill-based wagering is legal.
PotLock reserves the right to request proof of age or identity at any time.
3. Description of Service
PotLock facilitates real-money skill-based wagering between golfers. PotLock does not participate in matches and does not guarantee outcomes.
4. Real Money Wagering
All wagers are real money transactions.
Deposits are locked before a round begins and held in escrow.
Once all players confirm, PotLock deducts its fee and transfers winnings to the winner.
You are solely responsible for complying with gambling laws in your jurisdiction.
5. Platform Fee
PotLock charges a 5% fee deducted from the winning pot at settlement. This fee is non-refundable once a match has settled.
6. Payments and Payouts
All payments processed through Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1).
PotLock does not store card numbers, CVV, or full bank details.
To receive winnings, connect a bank account through Stripe Connect.
7. Refund Policy
Deposits are refundable if a match is cancelled before scores are entered.
Once scores are entered, deposits are non-refundable except in a resolved dispute.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POTLOCK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by US law. Disputes resolved by binding arbitration under AAA rules.
